Description
We have 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift NOC Technician positions that are needed for a growing company in Madison, WI. The NOC Technicians will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolve issues of multiple operating systems, networks, Internet, and e-commerce sites. The NOC Technicians will be working on escalated issues that were not addressed in the normal business hours, resolve trouble tickets, and escalate any issues to Systems Administrator or Development staff. The NOC Technicians will be working 1st shift during their training months and then transitioning to 2nd and 3rd shift hours. These positions require excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. These individuals will be working with a smaller staff on longer ticket resolutions and will have to keep on track without anyone micro managing. Experience/Skills
We are looking for Help Desk Level III, Network & Systems Administrators, and NOC Technicians who are looking for 2nd or 3rd shift opportunities, with a minimum of three or more years of supporting, Microsoft, Cisco, and IBM operating system and networks. An intermediate knowledge of UNIX/Linux or command line, firewall rules, and IDS signature fundamentals is a must. This person must be able to support Internet and e-commerce sites.
