Description
Genesis10 currently has a client in need of numerous Websphere Engineers for a conversion project in Columbus, OH. Genesis10 is willing to pay travel or relocation costs for the duration of this project. This position is for Websphere ENGINEERS, NOT administrators.

The positions are as follows:

WEBSPHERE ENGINEER 1 responsible for the following:
* building working systems from architectural design documents.
* design, build, configure, and debug Websphere environments
* deploy code from development to test and production.
* support user and performance test cycles.
* assess new technologies and provide engineering
guidance.
* Note that there will be occasional 24 x 7 pager support required for test cycle support.df-tc

Experience/Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Proficient in Windows operating systems (admin, performance tuning, troubleshooting).
* Proficient in Websphere application server - admin, performance tuning, troubleshooting etc. (NOTE this bullet is for only 1 of the 3 positions.)
* Proficient in AIX environments. (NOTE this bullet is for only 1 of the 3 positions.)
* Capable of performing the skills mentioned in the job description.

Other Skills (DESIRED / NOT REQUIRED):
* WebSphere Certification a plus.
* Experienced in performance tuning Websphere/Portal environments.
* Experienced in writing HTML, XML and scripting. (NOT REQUIRED)
* Experience with Oracle 9.x data access methods (NOT REQUIRED)
* TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, packet routing/switching and load balancing. (NOT REQUIRED)
* Ability to perform system level disaster recovery planning, testing, auditing, risk analysis. (NOT REQUIRED)
* MQ Series, Process Choreographer, Site-Minder agent configuration/deployment, remote LDAP authentication (NOTE this bullet is for only 1 of the 3 positions.)
* Experienced in writing HTML, XML and scripting. (NOT REQUIRED)
* Experience with Oracle 9.x data access methods. (NOT REQUIRED)
