Description
Job Duties
- User account, security & print spooling management
- Filesystems & storage management
- Capacity planning & performance tuning
- Troubleshooting servers & OS related problems
- Work with H/W & OS vendors when needed
- Establishing & maintaining technical standards & data center security policies
- Exposure & experience on AS/400 will be an added advantage
- Must be available 8am to 5pm weekdays and occasional weekends
- Must be flexible and able to work beyond 5 pm when required
- Install and configure AIX OS under versions 4.3.3, 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3
- Support I/T Customer

Experience/Skills
Skills Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science /IT or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as an AIX System Administrator
- must be familiar with AIX5L
- At least 3 years of good hands on experience required with Logical Volume Manager (LVM), performance tools & good track record on troubleshooting skills
- At least 3 years of Unix shell scripting & network configuration related to servers
- At least 3 years of Working experience in Network Installation Manager (NIM)
