Description
Will provide senior level systems administration including troubleshooting complex client/server integration issues and network integration issues as they relate to both Unix and non Unix platforms. AIX support will also involve installing and supporting a variety of UNIX server based products. This individual will be involved with creating and reviewing processes for enhancing the existing UNIX server infrastructure. Also responsible for creating necessary documentation for other IT related teams. Technical environment includes, but is not limited to: p-series systems, EMC - SAN, Oracle, WebSphere, MQ Series, and Web Applications. df-tc

Experience/Skills
Possess a strong understanding and experience with AIX and with SP and/or Regatta technology. This includes proficiency in the automation of installation, maintenance and systems administration of AIX SP and/or Regatta based systems, products and tools. Needs to have the technical expertise to complete the following tasks: investigate, engineer, and create server environments to support various company initiatives. Install and maintain systems software for RS/6000 AIX/SP/Regatta environment. Perform performance analysis and provide tuning recommendations. Assist project application programmers with program development issues. Develop shell scripts to automate the server environment. Evaluate and recommend system-related software, provide problem determination and resolution services for the server environment.
