Job Description:
The qualified candidate will work with a small team of scientific software developers creating desktop applications to be used in life science research laboratories. Detailed design, implementation, debugging, testing and documentation of application software. Review and comment on marketing/product requirements, software requirements specifications, software design documents, and other types of project related documents.df-tc

Experience/Skills
BSCS / BSCE or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to understand top level architecture designs. Must be a problem solver with excellent organizational & communication skills. Ability to learn quickly new/different software applications and products. Object oriented designer, knowledge of languages like Visual Basic, Visual C++, C#.Net, XML,and development platforms Win32, Microsoft .Net Framework, Visual Studio.Net.

At least 4 years in software development in the area of GUI desktop applications on Microsoft Windows. A solid background in object oriented design, object oriented programming, and event driven systems. Required minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering in C++,C#.Net, Windows desktop application development and a thorough understanding of software development cycle. Preferred exp in the area of life sciences. Exp in instrumentation control with understanding of software, firmware and hardware layers is a plus.
