Description
One of our Nashville, TN-based client's is searching for candidates to fulfill the position of Application Developer. In this position, you'll be bridging the gap between designer and developer while working with one other interface developer and a team of Perl coders.

Experience/Skills
To qualify for consideration for this position, you must meet or exceed the following:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Information Management, MIS, or related field or equivalent experience required
  • Very strong experience in Perl, especially in a web environment (mod_perl)and OO style.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL or Oracle
  • Experienced using Linux or Unix as a development environment.
  • Broad experience working in CSS, xHTML, and Javascript with AJAX and standards based patterns.
  • Familiarity with version control software like SVN and bug tracking software like trac.
