Description
On behalf of a Casino-Hotel Resort in San Diego, California, Casino Careers Online is seeking an Applications Engineer.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for the analysis, design, development, maintenance, testing, implementation, training, and support of various business applications. Utilizes knowledge of tools, systems, and procedures to resolve issues and define and document requirements for enhancements or changes to the system. Provides 24x7 operation support for business applications. Plans and executes application installations and upgrades. Provides application customizations and develops interfaces to other applications. Develops and supports business applications, performs database administration and capacity planning.

Requirements:

-Bachelors degree in computer science MIS, information systems, or related area or the equivalent in education/experience.
-4 or more years of experience in analyzing, defining, designing, documenting, developing, testing, and supporting business applications.

-Technical experience in installing, configuring, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting business applications.

-Database design and modeling, SQL Server administration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.

-Programming experience in .NET and Java environments.

-Knowledge of SQL, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, IIS, and some UNIX.

-Experience with computer graphics, multimedia design, performance tuning, managing web site content and use of Perl, CGI,XML/XSL, Java, JavaScript, ASP.net, VB.net and/or C#.

-Experience with applications, including SQL, HTML, DHTML, XML, Access, Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, Flash, Visio, and Crystal Reports.
