Job Summary

As the APAC SAP project Lead, your primary responsibility will be to implement SAP enterprise technology platform for a wave deployment for China. You will work with the different sites functional business organizations to develop and support the successful implementation of this software at both the manufacturing and affiliate locations within China. You will also interface with the SAP business clients to gather and meet the client’s needs. You will interface frequently with management at the regional and site level. Your other areas of responsibility will include ensuring the synchronization of all technical activities within the SAP environment(s) in order to preserve application integrity across all business areas. You will be the primary liaison point for the site deployment teams to both the APAC region and the Global SAP Center of Excellence (CoE). .

Basic Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience – an MBA is preferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years SAP experience specific to SAP Deployments and working knowledge of the applications being deployed. Position requires 3-5 years project management experience as well. Pharmaceutical experience preferred. Must have an extensive understanding of SAP’s object oriented architecture, and be able to analyze the database for high volume transactions. Must have proven project management experience in implementing SAP R/3 in a pharmaceutical environment. Experience working in a validated pharmaceutical environment is required. Candidate must be extremely knowledgeable of the inter-workings of the core SAP products and its ancillary add-ons (BSB, Business Warehouse, APO, R/3, etc.) along with knowledge of the business practices of China.

Relocation is not available for this position.
