Description
The BaaN Administrator is responsible for the administration of the BaaN IVc4 systems from a BaaN Tools perspective and for providing a help desk function for BaaN issues. The role also encompasses the basic first-line maintenance and administration of the HP-UX servers and Oracle databases. Other responsibilities include implementation of specific BaaN related projects and system changes. Managing user security on the BaaN system. Ensuring the ERP system is regularly backed up. Ensure the BaaN procedures and processes accord with best practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Not intended to be a complete list and other duties may be assigned. · Maintaining and administering the BaaN system and its clients. · Maintaining and administering the HP-UX servers and Oracle databases on a first-line basis. · Implementing and managing specific ERP related projects. · Reviewing, analyzing and implementing approved System Change Requests to the BaaN system · Administering system backups · Provide an IS Help Desk function for BaaN related user requests · Administering the BaaN printers, system devices, Manifest and Bar-coding systems · Import and dump information into the BaaN system through BaaN exchange schemes and GTM · Ensuring the system accords with ISO requirements and all BaaN system related procedures are current. · Advise management on BaaN system related issues. · Creating, dumping and importing BaaN companies as necessary · Apply and coordinate testing of BaaN service packs and porting sets OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Advising users on basic BaaN functional matters · Assist with preparing system dates and month end processing · Development of BaaN reports and customizations · Development and administration of Crystal Reports and the Crystal Enterprise system Will Relocate the right candidate, For Immediate Consideration please send resume directly to Lex Tyler at Lex.Tyler@rht.com.df-tc
