Consultant, Health & Productivity
This position will interface with end users, programmers, and database administrators. This position will work on project teams that are implementing applications using Microsoft SQL Server, MS Reporting Services, and other report writing tools, as required, in both data warehouse and non-data warehouse environments. This individual should be a self starter and able to work autonomously in a fast pace environment. The most qualified candidate will have an expert level TSQL background, able to mine data from complicated databases. This position also involves solving immediate need problems and requests. Working knowledge/involvement in all phases of the software development life cycle is required.


Duties and Responsibilities
You will participate in the full system development life cycle, including but not limited to the following:

· Normalization of large data sets into an existing data warehouse
· Analyze and manipulate data within the data warehouse based on predefined guidelines
· Generate standard system report
· Create custom ad-hoc reports based on internal and external requests
· Perform QA and testing
· Respond to changing requirements, as well as technical issues
· Prepare and enhance technical system documentation, as well as documentation of operating procedures
· Aid management staff in streamlining data processes and procedures
· Customize system features and functions to meet specific client requirements
· Program new system features as well as updates and enhancements
· Provide system-related training to internal staff

Experience/Skills
Required Skills:
· Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 (2+years)
· Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (2+ years)
· SQL Server database programming experience including complex stored procedures, views, and database design (2+ years)
· Visual Studios .NET programming in VB.NET or C# .NET (2+ years)
· Specific SQL Server application experience developing reporting applications (2+ years)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Information Systems
