Description
Genesis 10 seeks a Business Analyst in Arizona for a 6 month contract ASAP. Our Client is trying to complete the installation and rollout of a new origination system (NetOxygen from Gallagher Financial Systems, Nashville). The BA's would be helping with testing of vendor released hot fixes, version upgrades, and driving requirement definition/testing specific to Client's Arizona processing. There also may be a need to back up and make sure previously captured requirements have been defined in enough detail). It is also likely that the BA role will also help facilitate adoption of the new system with the user base. Only 30% of the Wisconsin operation is using the new system and they need to get off the old FiTech system. The report writer need will be to facilitate Ad Hoc reporting, along with providing some direction on how to best enable End User reporting. The Client is used to using a huge MS Excel file for reporting, they are finding it difficult to get data out of the new system.

Requirements:

Developing functional specifications (high priority) Document requirements (highest priority, especially in flushing out unknown or potentially ambiguous requirements and gaining/keeping consensus on the business requirements during the development & testing phases). Develop and execute functional test plans (high priority) Word and / or Excel used for documentation. Reporting, Crystal or SQL Report Writer Mortgage origination or Financial Services industry experience helpful. (High priority - Mortgage Loan Origination Underwriting experience that would be best. They would be open to a BA with Financial Services experience).
