Summary
Provides professional, specialized skills, including, but not limited to, business continuity planning, project management, disaster recovery planning, risk analysis and problem resolution. Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, peers, internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities
Under little to no supervision, coordinates, performs, identifies or significantly assists with the following Business Continuity Processes/Disaster Recovery Processes (BCP/DRP) tasks: Risk Evaluation and Control, Business Impact Analysis, Identify Local State and Federal Requirements, Develop Recovery Strategies, Coordinate/Prepare Emergency Response Plans, Assist with Plan Implementation, Conduct Testing and Exercising of BCP/DRP Plans, Maintain and Update Plans. Serves as a subject matter expert in BC/DR. Identifies critical business functions, acceptable application downtimes, financial loss due to unavailability, their recovery priorities, and inter-dependencies. Recovers multiple computer platforms, networks, operating systems and/or applications. Utilizes contingency planning software tools. Utilizes business continuity methodology. Participates in vendor contract negotiations. Interfaces and communicates with senior management of the corporation. Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Education/Experience
Four year college degree and 4 or more years professional experience or 6 or more years professional experience. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred. Courses in business continuity, crisis communications, emergency management, security, counter-terrorism preferred. Currently holding or willing to pursue Business Continuity certification based on relevant skills, knowledge and work experience. Preferred experience in at least two of the following areas: Audit, Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment, Disaster Recovery, Facilities Management, Business Continuity and Strategies, Computer Operations, Technical Support, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Project Management Salvage & Restoration.
