Description
Overall responsibility for coordinating the implementation and management of the "MOVE" Warehouse Management System (WMS) with Operations and the Information Technology groups, as well as other fulfillment related systems and processes, within the HSN Fulfillment Centers.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate business and system requirements for enterprise business application solutions.
Deliver new or modified business processes and software system enhancements and/or integration solutions.
Conduct and analyze business and information technology processes, physical processes and procedures, and prepare essential groundwork.
Identify customer requirements; track and document the development of these plans.
Make recommendations for necessary changes on projects that come from other departments.
Work with both business and IT for problem resolutions and suggestions.
Document the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates or analysis tools.
Create, modify, and maintain procedures and reports using various report writing tools.
Participate in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of processes and systems.
Validate that HSN business processes and rules are being adhered to, and that development is meeting the requirements of the users.
Use analysis techniques to uncover business and system requirements.
Document the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates or analysis tools.
Identify areas of potential business risk and communicate these to the business.
Play the lead role for projects of low to medium complexity; define the scope and manage the timelines and goals of the project.
Interact internally to determine involvement, requirements, analysis and interfaces with the users.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred in one of the following areas: information technology, finance, computer science or related (or equivalent work history).
1 to 2 years of related/progressive experience.
Experience in an Operations/Fulfillment environment strongly preferred.
Knowledge and experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes.
Ability to work in technical environments that use SQL, Unix, Oracle and other business related systems.
Ability to work with warehouse management systems, order management systems, logistics systems, LMS and other business related applications.
Process and systems oriented; self-motivated learner who enjoys working with new tools.
Ability to perform with a moderate level of guidance and direction.
Ability to solve a range of straightforward problems and analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.df-tc
