Description
High Point Company has immediate need for a Business Systems Analyst-Bill of Materials/Product Costing Position.This person is responsible for utilizing established analytical skills and in-depth business process knowledge within the area of the business that he/she supports to independently define and implement solutions to support complex/integrated business processes. This individual will be required to clearly define the business problems, gather a complete set of business requirements that are agreed upon by the business community, convert those business requirements into technical requirements, and identify potential solutions. Individual is also required to manage the development and deployment of the solution, including the transition to post-implementation support. Individual is responsible for ensuring compliance with standards set forth in the Systems Development Life Cycle. This person is required to be fully capable of organizing and leading a single, large to complex project. Must also be skilled in business process design/development versus technical systems design and programming.

Requirements:

BS degree in Business or Computer Science or applicable professional certifications.8+ years of Industry related experience may substitute college4+ years of experience working with Bill of Material and Product Costing in a multi-plant environment.In-depth knowledge understanding of item master information, multi-level bills, scrap factors, phantoms, etc.Planning of material requirements, inventory management/accounting and costing.Solid working knowledge of standard cost accounting, actuals, standards, frozen standards, labor routing, cost variances and the manner in which product costing is used to plan and manage a manufacturing environment.
