Description
Our client, a major leader in information technology is currently looking for a C Developer/ System Analyst to join their team in Frankfurt, KY.

Job Responsibilities:

This person will create "make" files (using tools such as "make" or "ANT") to pull the correct version of software ("source code") from a repository (such as Clearcase, PVCS, or CVS, but there are others), compile that software (depends upon the language), and create some sort of package or packages (depends upon the software) that can be delivered into a (test or) production environment for subsequent installation.

This person will work with the development team to understand how the software is to be assembled (e.g., C code must be complied, Java code must be put into a JAR, WAR, or EAR file, etc.), AND with the operations personnel to understand how the software is to be installed into a production environment.


This person does not have to be a programmer, but must understand what programming is in order to be able to create "make" files that assemble the source files of programming.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Required Skills:

Must have 5+ years of experience with c coding.

Must have experience with source coding such as Clearcase, PVCS, or CVS, etc.

Must have experience with tools, such as JAR, WAR, or EAR file, etc.

Must have experience with software packing experience.

Must have experience with software testing.

Understanding of how software is installed into a production environment.
