Job Description:


Please Note: ***Required: Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

* S/W Eng NG Internal Sys 2 - Job Description: We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior level-level Web Developer to perform recurring maintenance of NG SRS and SES websites (both static and dynamic).

* Majority of applications run on Windows 2000 / Windows 2003 platform.

*** Must be proficient in Microsoft .NET development suite.

*** Minimum required skill set should include C#, XML, JavaScript, Oracle DB, SQL and HTML, with some demonstrated experience in ***Cold Fusion and ***Dreamweaver (see additional requirements, below).

*** Strong Oracle and SQL skills are a must (most application use Oracle as the back end DB).

*** Candidate must possess strong Oral and Written communication skills and an ability to engage directly with the end user with a minimal amount of manager oversight.

* Some potential for support of longer term non-recurring projects (contingent upon funding).

*** Job requires that candidate devote ~10 hours per week to routine web postings (updates to web content), with the balance of his/her workload being geared more toward technical programming assignments.

*** Familiarity with SPI and CMMi Level 3 precepts desirable.

*** Previous experience with COTS implementations a plus.

***Educational Requirements: BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.

***Other Details/Requirements for this position: ***All newly developed code will comply with IT Solutions standards for the development of web applications (i.e., .NET); however, the candidate must possess sufficient proficiency in "Cold Fusion" programming to enable him/her to perform adaptive or corrective maintenance of legacy "Cold Fusion" web applications, in addition to making frequent updates to web content using our "Dreamweaver" templates. Furthermore, the candidate may be required to convert existing legacy "Cold Fusion" code to the standard NET architecture with a minimum of program documentation.df-tc
