CAD Technician for Boston MA


OVERVIEW:

CAD Technicians will spend their time working with engineers creating and editing drawings. In depth knowledge of the use of blocks, xref's, attributes, model space/paper space and viewports is a must.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Plotting
  • Enter drawings/markups/redlines into AutoCAD
  • Make revisions to drawings as required
  • Scanning documents/drawings for archives
  • Posting of materials to websites
  • Coordination with other trades

    ESSENTIALS:

    Candidates should have 1-3 years prior relevant experience in the engineering field along with a certificate or Associates degree. Candidates must also possess experience with AutoCAD 2004 or above (Building Systems software a plus) and be proficient in the operation of computer systems including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel along with excellent communication skills.3D Cad experience is a big plus.
