Description
As the Engineer, you will be certified as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA). This is a full-time opportunity. Candidates must be local to Birmingham/Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The Cisco CCNA network associate certification validates the ability to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. The curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. It also includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).

The foundation of Check Point certifications, CCSA NGX certification validates a Security Administrator's ability to maintain day-to-day operation of Check Point security solutions and ensure secure access to information across the network. Proficiencies include creating and installing security policies, using logging and reporting features, and managing anti-spoofing, Network Address Translation (NAT), and OPSEC applications.df-tc
