Here is a terrific opportunity to join a well-known, Dallas-based company and utilize your skills as a Senior Clarify Developer for a key CRM - Sales module project. This company is a leader in the consumer industry.

We are seeking a senior-level Clarify Developer to provide analysis, design, programming, customizations, and implementations for a Clarify sales module application in an Oracle enterprise environment. In this role, you will provide expertise in the areas of project scoping, analysis, design, development, business process, reporting, and performance tuning of the Clarify CRM application. The Clarify Corporate Information Store contains legacy data that must manage various sales operational systems throughout the enterprise.

Primary Objectives:
You will analyze, support, and document the current Clarify environment and its integration with other operational OLTP systems. You will be required to gain an understanding of the current environment and business needs; upgrade the current operational databases as specified; and create customizations, programming, and database design while developing standards and procedures.

We are looking for someone who will provide prompt, accurate, and consistent support for all internal IT development teams and customers. Your role will encompass Oracle programming and report generation as well as delivery of technical level satisfaction to meet established customer expectations in cooperation with IT Services Managers and other internal teams.

Job Requirements:
This position is responsible for working with and guiding development team members to ensure that the physical implementation fulfills business requirements. Tasks will include:
  • Working with the IT development teams to define new and innovative ways of representing and analyzing data for implementation in the Clarify application environment.
  • Defining data requirements and design associated with the implementation of the Clarify-based initiatives.
  • Creating and maintaining database and application requirements and designing information working with Data Modelers utilizing CASE tools and logical models.
  • Working with database and application team members to ensure implementation of the intended design.
  • Teaming with DSS team to ensure delivery of intended business meaning.
  • Working with the Data Management group to create data administration QA standards.
  • Resolving data issues and facilitating data analysis.
  • Providing production support for existing applications (on-call as necessary).
  • Daily maintenance and administration of the existing Clarify environment.
  • Task planning and estimation. Working with project manager in task coordination of data warehouse activities and other I.T. initiatives.
  • Collaborating with other internal organizations on actions such as customer hand-off and resolving common issues.
  • Participating as a tech resource as needed for customer issue reviews.
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of assigned applications, with intimate knowledge of the customer business purpose, operations, systems configuration, and application software environment.
  • Staying current and proficient on existing and emerging Clarify and SQL technology through self-study, and training opportunities.
  • Conducting quality assurance walkthroughs.
  • Providing status on a regular basis.

    Required Technical Skills:
  • 5+ years minimum as an Information Technology professional (most recent experience with Clarify).
  • 3+ years Clarify v10.x analysis, design, development experience with proven record of successful implementation and support.
  • 3+ years of Unix (Sun Solaris preferred) operating systems and environment.
  • 3+ years SQL development experience.
  • Solid background in relational technology and complex database design.
  • SQL performance tuning.
  • Stored procedures, triggers, tsql.
  • Extensive troubleshooting experience with SQL issues.

    Other Skills:
  • Experienced in CRM and Client/Server deployments.
  • Overall understanding of SQL architecture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player a must.
  • Task / issue ownership a must.

    Desired:
  • Clarify certification a plus.

    Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relatedd
