Description
> Being responsible for implementation of all hardware or software upgrades and maintenance as assigned; hardware and the software Systems Administration day-to-day support tasks as assigned. >Coordinating the upgrade or patching OS software on all platforms; Installing and performing maintenance on various Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software products made by various suppliers. >Dealing with various COTS suppliers on technical, installation, licensing and support issues. >Attending meetings, as required. >Performing network and system performance monitoring, analysis and tuning; Troubleshooting and working with users. >Review and update established local processes and procedures. >Writing UNIX scripts, as needed. > Interactions with NSSD Azusa program office as required-Support NSSD-Azusa Engineering Lab Environment. >Participate in various Engineering IPT initiatives. >Work with infrastructure teams at the NSSD Azusa facility. >Possibility that some work will be direct charge to contract. Bachelors degree plus minimum 10 years experience or equivalent. ***DOD Secret Clearance Required. Must have good knowledge of Sun/Solaris and SGI/IRIX operating Systems. ***Required: Candidate must be U.S. Citizen. ***Required: Candidate must have passed Certified Drug Test and Background Check prior to start date.
