As a Consultant, Computer Operations, you will be responsible for managing complex projects through planning, directing and coordinating activities to meet project objectives. Manage all aspects of implementation in order to meet client expectations and maintain a high level of quality through communications, customer service and organizational practices. This includes all phases of a project from approval through general release using project management methodologies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Manage complex Pearl River SSI infrastructure projects across all technologies (Desktop, LAN, WAN, UNIX, Windows, and Netware servers, Data Center, etc.). Coordinate and integrate project activities across functional lines or departments and implement as per our SOP's in order to meet all compliance and regulatory standards.

*Implement local site infrastructure projects and overall project management process as developed by the Corporate Project Management Office and Site SSI Operations Project Manager. Promote the use of the Corporate Project Management Process (PMP) and central project data repository.

*Act as the primary team interface and focal point for all team communications to ensure all customers (internal and external) and vendors are working together. Work with department personnel on project initiatives.

*Report on local site project process, cost and customer satisfaction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

*BS/BA with 5 + years of Project Management experience.

*Project Management Certification.

*Vendor Management skills.

*Strong written, verbal & organizational skills.

*Demonstrated experience in the various disciplines in IS; i.e. Data Center Operations, Applications, Information Systems Technology.
