Robert Half Technology has an exclusive with one of our Des Moines clients to help them fill their 2 Computer Operator positions. One shift is Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm , off on Saturday and Sunday. The other shift if Saturday & Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm and Monday & Tuesday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, off on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to operating and monitoring mainframe computer equipment and peripherals, performing system backups and identifying equipment problems and initiating corrective action. These computer operator positions must also have knowledge of JCL and job scheduling processes & procedures and experience with batch scheduling.
