Description
: Loan Orgination System built on Microsoft platform using VB, C++, C# and .NET framework utilizing MS SQL Server. This is a hands-on position responsible for providing technical leadership and enhancement the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Configuration Management (CM), Build Management and other software engineering operational activities. This position reports to the Quality Management team and works closely with Development and Quality Assurance teams to manage and extend procedures throughout the software development life cycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
â?¢ Perform ongoing operations for engineering functions including software version control, build, packaging, installation and verification
â?¢ Works with development and QA to compile, build and deploy System
â?¢ Maintain, enhance and define new build systems and automated build processes
â?¢ Ensures proper archiving and version control of product releases
â?¢ Oversee branching and merging of the code base
â?¢ Lead the planning and implementation of changes to the engineering infrastructure relating to CM
â?¢ Develop/Coding operational processes such as build tools using VB, C++ etc
â?¢ Serves as an advocate CM and SDLC best practices and procedures
â?¢ Researches and improves methods of production and processes based on industry standards

Qualifications:
â?¢ 5+ years configuration management experience with Microsoft web-based and/or client-server applications
â?¢ Experience on one of the tools such as IBMRational's ClearCase, ClearCase Multisite and ClearQuest could be an added value
â?¢ Hands-on programming experience with VB, C, C++ and Scripting
â?¢ Experience with products built using .NET, IIS/ASP, Microsoft SQL Server
â?¢ Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database Query Analyzer (or other database query tools)
â?¢ Hands-on experience using the build automation tool such as NANT would be preferred.
â?¢ Commercial product knowledge of the software build, configuration and release process.
â?¢ Knowledge of the Visual Source Safe and PVCS
â?¢ Aggressive attention to detail.
â?¢ Work independently, but as a cooperative member of the engineering organization
â?¢ Ability to be flexible to changing demands and priorities.
â?¢ Experience with InstallShield preferred
â?¢ BS in Computer Science or comparable experiencedf-tc
