Job Summary

Function as a technical project lead/manager for multiple initiatives within the U.S. Commercial Systems data warehousing and application development areas. Particular emphasis will be placed on the MicroStrategy report and dashboard activities. This position interfaces with IS management and key members of the client community to deliver solutions which support Wyeth’s sales and marketing organization. The individual will serve multiple roles leading projects and managing operational support initiatives. IMS data knowledge is strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Work with client and cross-IS to identify responses to business demands for area of leadership span. Includes concept identification, cost and time estimates, dependencies, assumptions, and staffing. Review of options via formal and informal governance processes to ensure understanding, procure resources, and obtain organizational buy-in.

Completes documentation and project plans for multiple concurrent projects. Oversees project resources and reports on progress.

Oversee all aspects of the systems development life cycle for key development initiatives in support of Wyeth.com and Relationship Marketing.

Responsible for the transition of applications into the operations model.
Also, troubleshoots tier one problems.

Provides programming guidance and direction for the ETL developers within DSS in coordination with the DSS management team.

Directly responsible for compliance, quality, and operations of key systems.

Basic Qualifications

B.S./BA +10 years work experience degree in a technical or business field required. MBA + 10 years work experience preferred. or PhD + 4 years or equivalent experience.

Previous experinece in MicroStrategy, data modeling, data warehousing, system architecture, and project management skills is required. Previous experience supporting and interaction with Sales & Marketing organizations preferred. Life cycle system development for key initiatives required. Previous experience with IMS data and pharmaceutical background a plus.

Relocation is not available for this position.
