Description
The Consumer Web Producer coordinates all initiatives concerning the consumer Web site. The focus of the role is to work cross-functionally to manage online projects from production through launch and post-launch assessment.

Major Job Functions:
Responsible for understanding and application of the following to projects: content production processes, legal compliance, Internet technologies, usability, information architecture, web design, web metrics reporting tools, and search engines.
Under the direction of the product marketing director, the consumer web producer is responsible for managing content production processes and working cross-functionally to establish and communicate timelines for deliverables.
Create and monitor production schedules to ensure timely, high-quality implementations.
Create detailed business specifications for Web site enhancements, new products or specific marketing programs to be used as a guide for technical development.
Participate in regularly scheduled releases and discretionary projects as requested by the marketing and/or sales teams.
Provide ongoing user experience and conversion-enhancement recommendations for the site.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners, including vendors, marketing, PR, sales and development.

Skills Required: Required Education/Skills:
Bachelor degree required
Detailed understanding of web development processes required. Familiarity with web design, usability, e-commerce, SEO & SEM is desired.
Ability to manage projects with multi-functional teams on tight deadlines throughout web development process.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to self-manage and multitask across projects.
Highly organized; time management and attention to detail a must. Proven commitment and follow-through on projects.
Strong documentation skills. Experience with project plans, business requirements and use case documentation.
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.

Required Experience:
3-5 years experience in Web content production.
Through knowledge of e-commerce industry best practices
Familiarity with consumer-facing transactional Web sites

Skills Preferred but Not Required: Candidate needs to have an understanding of Web technologies, but does not need to be a coder.
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 3-5 years in web content production
Will the contingent worker be using File One Data? No
