Description
    Robert Half Technology's client in downtown Denver is seeking a detailed-oriented Crystal Reports Developer and Financial Data Analyst. This role will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to meet deadlines and customer needs in conjunction with excellent professional demeanor.

    Key responsibilities:
  • Solid experience with developing reports using Crystal Reports including: extracting data from SQL server to satisfy standard reports, ad-hoc requests, developing databases, spreadsheets, and other applications to manipulate data.
  • Analyze, prepare, and report on financial performance of medical service contracts.
  • Provide additional analysis as necessary to explain trends and variances.
  • Develop clinical and quality-based analysis and performance reports.
  • Interface with internal and external customer to communicate results.
  • Ability to illustrate superior communication skills, be precise and detail oriented in managing, editing and communicating data through spreadsheets, presentations and reports.
  • Establish and maintain effective collaborative and professional relationships with internal and external customers while exhibiting tact and consideration.
  • Ability to work proactively to resolve conflicts.

Experience/Skills
    Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in health administration, business administration, economics, finance or related field preferred or equivalent.
  • Strong experience with Crystal Reports and MS SQL Server.
  • 2+ years experience performing financial analysis in a health care environment including 1+ years in a hospital, physician practice or managed care environment.
  • Knowledge of managed care contract terms and requirements, standard health care reporting measures and basic accounting theory and principles.
