Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Lead and coordinate data requirements elicitation and data modeling by delimiting the data.
Monitor integrity and quality of data artifacts (Conceptual Data Model, Data Mappings and Interface Control Documents (ICD)).
Interface with client and strategic partner personnel; maintain positive relationships while representing the client position.
Develop, own and review rendered conceptual data model, data mappings and ICD to ensure adherence to stakeholder and internal team needs.
Elicit and define data requirements and specifications for government client projects.
Manage changes to data requirements throughout project lifecycle.
Collaborate with technical development staff to implement data requirements.
Serve as subject matter expert and proponent of development methodology: the Rational Unified Process.
Evaluate requirements and design artifacts at major review points in project life cycle.

Experience/Skills
Bachelors degree with 4-6 years in technical data analysis and design, Previous development experience is preferred. Experience with data management tools and visual modeling tools, such as Enterprise Architect. Experience with the Rational Unified Process or other object-oriented, iterative-based development methodology is strongly preferred. Understanding of GJXDM and XSL/XLST is preferred. Excellent understanding of risk management principles and the ability to make educated, critical judgments in the absence of complete information. Must be able to pass government clearance. Must have initiative, a willingness to learn, and strong oral and written communication skills.
