Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Data Center Operations Lead to join our team in Anaheim, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with the Technical support staff to lead implementation and support critical SJHS Data Center Operational components, including system backups, application and infrastructure monitoring, and batch job processing. Work with Operations personnel to identify areas of possible automation and/or improvement to provide customer service and enhancement of problem resolution techniques. Understand and manage problems utilizing defined Problem and Change Management Policies and Procedures. Monitor systems consoles for problems, manage systems availability, production scheduling and control, reports distribution, service level support, administration and controls, equipment operation, backup recovery, procedural documentation, and execution of the disaster recovery plan.

Lead operations department for a 13,000 sq ft facility with over 1500 systems in production. Organize and control the operations of the computer center by coordinating staff to meet budgets and deadlines. Resolve conflicting demands from users for service. Interface with internal and external management in problem-solving and recommending technical alternatives and appropriate actions. Responsible for enterprise backup's, recovery, and implementation of the disaster recovery & business continuity plans.

  • Backup Hardware (i.e. ADIC i2000)
  • Windows NT, 2K, 2k3
  • Networking Concepts (TCP/IP, etc.)

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
