Responsibility for Managed Services and Hosting Data Center Management, including NOC engineers, customer transition and delivery 'Responsibility for Project Management relating to day-to-day data center operations and new customer integration'Responsibility for Data Center Network Implementation, Operations, Support'Responsibility for Data Center Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity'Responsibility for Strategic and Tactical Planning in regards to hardware, software and budget relating specifically to the data center'Responsibility for Capacity/Performance Planning 'Manage appropriate staffing levels based on internal and external requirements for Data Center Operations'Manage and develop employees within Data Center Operations organization'Manage weekly/regular communications with Data Center Operations organization to ensure current activity visibility, issue escalation/resolution, and upcoming activity visibility'Responsibility for driving root cause analysis on identified Data Center issues 'Responsibility for defining, developing and ongoing delivery of pertinent quantitative and qualitative metrics specific to the Data Center Operations and functions which are supported'Assist with development of, and manage to, Service Level Agreements for all supported systems within the Data Center'Coordinate and drive regular cross-organizational meetings with Support, MIS, and other related parties to discuss/define evolving operations and support strategy'Improve standard data center operations procedures and processes, and drive ongoing Data Center design per overall business requirements and industry requirements'Responsibility for ongoing problem/issue identification and resolution with regards to Data Center Operations'Enforce Change Management policy for all production systems within the Data Center'Manage Vendor relations for all vendors providing service or support to Data Center production systems.

Experience/Skills
BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline required. Extensive exp. with build out, growth, management & support of high volume ASP and Hosting Centers, including managing Data Center Operations for internal and external customers. High-volume website management, securing and protecting data center assets, 24x7 env. with Windows 2000, Cisco routers & switches, SAN solutions & Checkpoint Firewalls, load balancing equip. SLA management required; Developing procedures/processes.

Other desired skills:
