Description
Local International Company is seeking a Contractor to fill the Data Warehouse Technical Lead / Developer position in the Greensboro, NC location. This is a 6 month contract.PURPOSE: Work with Business Intelligence/ Data Warehouse/Datamart team to extend and support applications surrounding the ETL and development of new 10G Oracle Portal and OLAP features. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: XFunction as technical development resource for Business Intelligence, Data warehouse and Datamart applications. XMaintain a high level of competence, professionalism, and systems expertise while working through development life cycle. XWork with Project Manager, Business Analyst and Tech Lead/Architect to delivery software product according to detail project plan. XAnalyze and translate user requirements into proper system specifications and technical design. XMange scope and objective of project requests. XWork with Project Manager, Business Analyst and Tech Lead/Architect to provide detailed IT development estimates and implementation plan. XAssure system and technical solutions are made part of the long-term strategic development plan. XBe responsible for development of technical component design and migration to production. XStay abreast of significant technological developments that may impact the business. XCoordinate cross-functional activities with other IS departments as required. XContinue to enhance technical skills through formal education, self-study, or the application of new technologies to business solutions. XInvestigate application maintenance problems and make corrections as required to prevent reoccurrence. XProvide systems support as required both during and after normal working hours. XCommunicate effectively to management and development staff. Keep them aware of project status, and seek assistance or approval where appropriate. Requirements:

Oracle 9i or 10G as well as PL/SQL and SQLPlusV 3 - 5+ years Unix environment , AIX preferred. Solaris OK V 3-5+ years 4 year degree related to computer science or business information systems and minimum of 6 years experience in Oracle Data Warehousing development. 2+ years with Oracle 9ias or Oracle 10G.Please submit resume and cover letter as a WORD attachment.
