Description
Working with minimal direction, this position will provide both development and operational support for our data management systems. Specifically, this position will work with the system developers to design, build, fine tune and deploy databases as part of the Systems Development effort. In addition, this position will work with Operations, Help Desk and Systems Development to provide operational support for the database environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

?Requires degree in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
?6 years experience in database administration in a relational database environment required
?Minimum of 6 years experience with Oracle or other relational database management system
?Minimum of 3 years direct experience in Oracle database administration
?Experience with as many of the the following software languages or packages: Oracle 10g, Oracle 10gAS, Shareplex, Quest monitoring tools,Oracle Clinical and OEM
?OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provide the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

?Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail
?Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
