Description
Database Developer/Programmers needed for immediate FT opportunities!
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
  • Design, develop, implement and analyze large complex databases
  • Understand business requirements and can convert business requirements to system designs
  • Design database schema
  • Develop T-SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers and views to ensure business rules are processed in database
  • Analyze and debug stored procedures for optimal efficiency
  • Document database designs, relationships and objects
  • Create linked servers to access distributed data from multiple sources
  • Regular back up and monitor of complex databases, troubleshooting and data recovery if required
Qualifications Needed:
  • MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (preferred)
    BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years equivalent experience in database design, database management and database application development
Strengths:
  • Ability to work in a team enviornment developing complex business applications using current suite of Microsoft development tools. Ability to perform database design, implement code and work in an intergrated development team a must.


    Experience/Skills
    Hands on experience of at least 3 years in:
    • Writing T-SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers & views
    • Designing relational databases (SQL server, Sybase, Oracle)
    • Writing Data Transmission Services
    • Experience with linked servers & Visual Source Safe
    • Develop & Execute Unit Test Plans
    • Indepth knowledge of SQL Server 2000, TSQL, DTS, MS Analysis Service & OLAP
    • Some SQL Server DBA experience
    • MS SQL Server Reporting Services

      Other desired skills:
