This position is a direct report to the Chief Information Officer.

Salary: $8,404.18 - $12,720.41monthly
Salary Mid point: $10,562 or $126,744 annualized.

Commercial Programming Systems has been retained to administer this search.

This position will be responsible for the implementation of a Portfolio and Project Management Office. The Court is beginning a number of projects that will result in the replacement of their exsiting legacy systems with state of the art technology. This position will play a key role in the implementation and support of these systems.

Mandatory Requirements:



Training and Experience:

Three years of experience at the level of Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, Information Technology Manager II -OR- Five years of experience at the level of Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles Information Technology Manager I -OR-Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in management information systems, computer science, business administration, or a closely related field -AND- Eight years of progressively responsible information systems experience, at least three of which must have been in a management capacity.



Desired Qualfications:



MBA from an accredited college or university.



3 years of experience working in a Project Management Office within an organization of comparable or larger size.



3 years experience working with Project Management Institute PMBOK concepts



Experience with ITIL and methods and software tools for incident management, standards and configuration, policy management, remote software configuration management and change management.



Experience with database application, and infrastructure security.



Experience with general network architecture, and network tools able to manage and monitor critical network control points such as user accounts, status of key services, conformance of computing hardware with security and configuration best practices.



Experience with general training concepts and practices in connection with evolving enterprise information systems.





Experience with general workstation hardware and software concepts and practices, including proper configuration, appropriate technology refresh, timely security and application patching, accurate software licensing management, comprehensive device inventory, incident management, training, service level agreements, service catalog and communication.



Experience with general computer operations and production support concepts and practices, including ongoing effectiveness evaluation and reengineering, as well as monitoring against established standards to promote reliability and timely incident resolution and problem management.



Experience with QA and change control tools and methods.



Experience with security and business continuity tools, methods, architectures, and procedures.



Experience with continuous performance improvement, and policy and documentation development and management.



Experience in management of large software development and/or infrastructure projects, familiarity with application and operations systems life cycles, and strong and effective advocacy in project management methodologies and compliance assessment techniques.



Knowledge of IT resource analysis concepts and extensive exposure to project and program metrics and tracking tools.



Experience with IT organizational management, governance, standards and policy compliance, and communication in an enterprise context.df-tc
