BearingPoint has an opportunity available immediately for an Interface Support - Developer.

Individual will provide back-fill support to an In-House Development Support team.

Requirements:
* Minimum 7 - 10 years extensive experience with RPG400, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CL, SQL, Query/400 and DB2 Query Manager. Must possess very strong RPG and CL coding skills.
* Strong working knowledge of the IBM AS/400 architecture, OS/400 operating system, and extensive experience required in the use of DDM files and AS/400 communications.
* An undergraduate degree in MIS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience in writing interfaces and developing specifications based on business requirements.
* Extensive experience working in a technical support capacity with minimum supervision
* Extensive experience writing AS/400 FTP script programs
* Extensive experience with object distribution (SNADS) in multiple AS/400s
* Working experience writing and maintaining free-format RPGLE programs
* Working experience writing and maintaining programs using IBM system API's
* Extensive experience writing technical documentation using tools like Flow, MS Excel, MS Word, etc.
* Financial Applications experience is considered a plus.
