Description
Ajilon has an immediate opportunity for a full time SQL Server DB developer to assist in developing new SQL Server 2005 databases in order to meet the needs of the clients. This position also requires someone who has developed user documentation and can generate complex reports.

The position is with a data-driven marketing and sales support company that creates demand for our clients' businesses. They focus on strategy development, program implementation, customer contact services, rebate programs, business intelligence, and database management. They are headquartered in Charlotte and operate a Customer Care Center in Raleigh.

Job Description:
SQL Developer / Data Analyst will develop marketing research, analysis and modeling to facilitate and support business decisions and development of strategies. Develop frameworks and analysis tools to evaluate and interpret data and summarize and communicate it into actionable information. Analyzes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system data in response to channel marketing initiatives. Studies marketing data such as customer information, call patterns, and demographics. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Duties/Responsibilities:
The Developer/ Analyst will initiate and conduct analytical studies or use existing information to forecast or track significant sales and customer trends which will assist in planning for and meeting market demands.
Responsible and accountable for all phases of analysis. This includes discretionary use of data sources, evaluating data integrity, establishing data applicability limitations, determining appropriate analytic procedures, and reviewing statistical analysis for significant and usable information with limited direct supervision.
Identify, initiate, and establish internal and external contacts needed for information sourcing for analysis.

Responsible for developing a thorough understanding of client's subject matter data sources (i.e. agricultural, financial and other B2B) including availability, timeliness, accuracy, thoroughness, and limitations.
Identify and monitor key marketplace trends that impact strategic planning including demographic information, purchasing patterns, and economic indicators.

Design, develop and deliver executive summaries, reports, and graphics that clearly communicate the key project conclusions and implications for our clients with limited direct supervision. Lead discussions and facilitate innovation and creative thinking.
Serve as contact point for information relating to each project.
Provide advice and assistance to account managers in analyzing facts, identifying relevant issues, evaluating alternatives and recommending courses of actions.
This position will report to Vice President Technical Operation

Educational Qualifications Desired:
Master's degree, MBA, or related field -Preferred
Bachelor's degree with direct experience may be considered.

Competencies and Experience Desired:
Strong statistical and analytical background.
Experience with SQL Server 2005.
Must be able to initiate and handle projects that require analytical and reporting techniques.
Must be able to clearly communicate the results to non-technical audiences.
Must be able to retrieve raw data input, develop appropriate computer programs, apply statistical principles and format resulting information through tables or graphic charts.
