Director of Implementations

Sysgenix Resources has been asked by a healthcare client in the Middle Tennessee area to assist in finding a Director of Implementations that will be responsible for directing all aspects of new customer implementation. This individual will maintain ultimate responsibility for the successful completion of an implementation and the quality of the deliverables provided by the project team. This position produces work plans and matches project resources to task assignments that will optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation team. This position has primary responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of the project team members.

Tasks include:
  • Planning, budgeting, staffing, analysis and design and leading the team to deliver technical specifications, program development, system testing, application documentation and turnover to operations and help desk support.
  • Candidate will maintain and manage a competent staff of cross functional professionals who are able to meet the requirements of the client while meeting the standards of our client*s process.
  • Candidate will be responsible for furnishing planning, consultation and advisory services on implementations to both the client community and internal senior management.
  • Involves a high-level of interaction with client upper management, requiring excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Can lead and participate in evaluating existing systems and business functions and ensure the requirements definitions for new projects are translated in such a way as to insure that the needs of the client will be fulfilled.

    Qualifications:
  • Strong healthcare experience, including project management. Systems analysis applies.
  • Demonstrated, excellent inter-personal skills, supervisory skills, and posses a proven track record in project management
  • Results oriented with a strong commitment to quality and standards implementations
  • Ability to work independently and be a strong problem solver
  • Ability to direct a team; displays enthusiasm and is highly motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; verbal, written, and presentation
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities and schedules
  • Strong management skills in personnel decisions, budgets, and decision making
  • Customer service attitude with a strong work ethic

    Experience:
  • 8-10 years management experience, with demonstrated project management skills
  • Major project successes
  • BS Degree, Masters Degree a plus
  • Health plan benefit management and claim process experience a strong plus
