Description
Application Developer (AD) is responsible for application development, design, maintenance, and support as a member of one or more project team(s). Contributes to all aspects of systems development processes including application definition, design, development, and implementation of systems and constructs based on functional and technical requirements, viable technology and operational constraints. The AD works with Systems Architects, Project Managers, and users to implement and support best practices for application development and business process automation.This role’s purpose is also to provide strong managerial and technical skills with experience deploying multi-tiered Web-based solutions utilizing .NET technologies in conjunction with other members of a project team. This mentoring purpose also requires experience in all stages of solution delivery including analysis, design, construction, testing, deployment, and support. Strong interpersonal, planning, writing, and organizational skills are required. Must have: • Strong business orientation, with a sound technical background and solid experience with technology architecture, design and systems development methodologies • Strong technical competency, motivation, planning ability, and solid logical thinking skill sets. • Commitment to customer service and to continued review of processes and procedures to enhance service quality, delivery and support. • Must be flexible and able to prioritize work, learn new concepts quickly and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. • Skills and experience using ASP, ASP.Net, C#, VBScript, SQL Server 2005, IIS, HTML, XML, FTPKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science related area or 5 years experience; and seasoned .NET development experience.Please contact janet.chung@rht.com for an immediate response.
