Description
To provide Electronic Data Capture (EDC) expertise and support to PPD project teams assigned to studies utilizing EDC. To provide support and assistance to the project managers regarding all services provided by PPD primarily through the strategic implementation of EDC on the study. To act as primary liaison with Sponsors/Vendors and all internal PPD departments involved in the implementation of EDC trials.

To assist Business Development and senior management in securing new business (globally) by making presentations to Client Companies regarding PPD?s EDC capabilities as well as developing and reviewing bids and contracts.

Education and Experience:
?Bachelors Degree
?Minimum three years clinical research in clinical monitoring/management combination or program management or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
?Minimum one year where responsibilities include training or presenting information

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
?Demonstrated ability to mentor and train study team members in a positive and effective manner.
?Excellent understanding of FDA guidelines, GCPs and clinical trials processes
?Excellent computer skills (preferred experience with Oracle Clinical or other EDC systems) and ability to learn and become proficient with appropriate software
?Effective organizational skills and strong attention to detail. .
?Effective oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
?Excellent team player with team building skills.
?Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills
?Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques applicable to constantly changing environment
?Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage, motivate and integrate multiple teams
?Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving/decision making skills
?Expert knowledge of PPD?s Standard Operating Procedures
?Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting/forecasting
