Currently, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV for our Beech Island, SC location.

Summary:
Electrical Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate, design,
develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processes
in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations.
The Electrical Engineer for this role will provide
leadership and creativity in design, development,
optimization and implementation. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies in both staff and plant environments and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide specific project work direction to a broad range of team members. The incumbent reports to an Engineering Team Leader and receives direction in the form of general project objectives.

Responsibilities:
1)Lead single or multiple product or process improvement
projects with a financial scope of up to $10 million from
conception to commercialization.
2)Provide functional leadership and creativity in the
initiation, design, development and optimization, converting and manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objectives.
3)Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the
application of engineering principles, scientific analysis,
and project management.
4)Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.
Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes,
policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well
being of operators, maintenance and other personnel.
5)Seek, recognize, define and solve problems/
opportunities to achieve unit objectives. Identify complex
technical issues to determine root cause. Explore,
initiate, design, optimize and develop manufacturing and
supporting processes.
6)Assist in the development of others within the area of
the incumbent's expertise.

Qualifications:
1)Candidates must possess a bachelor's or advanced degree
in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Technology from an ABET accredited College or University.
Candidates with a bachelor's or advanced degree in a
relevant scientific discipline and possessing applicable
experience may also be considered.
2)Evidence of continuing self development
3)Strong experience with manufacturing control systems,
such as: PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers); variable speed motor drives; HMI (Human Machine Interfaces); sensors; automated inspection systems
4)A recognized leader including technology understanding and development with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in major capital projects.
5)A minimum of 8 years of experience in a variety of
technical or operational assignments.
6)A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
to achieve project results within required timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications:
1)Specific, in depth technical knowledge and expertise
2)Experience with the following manufacturing control
systems: (Allen Bradley and/or Rockwell Automation PLC's and/or variable speed motor drives; Wonderware and/or Allen Bradley HMI;
3)Up to 15 years of experience in a variety of plant and
staff assignments, including maintenance and operations.
4)Experience and expertise with Kimberly-Clark engineering technology, procedures, processes and products.df-tc
