Software Engineer

Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, test, implement and verify next-generation intelligent storage processor systems with multiple processor cores and related network drivers and middleware in Linux/Unix Kernel System, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, in C/C++.

Skills and Experience
Significant responsibility in development of multiple products including software architecture and implementation
Experience doing embedded development in C/C++ on a variety of processors and platforms, at least one of which must have been a modern RISC architecture such as MIPS, ARM, PowerPC, etc.
Understanding of real-time operating systems, including synchronization issues and multiprocessor architectures
Familiarity with characteristics of high-performance embedded software and systems
Architecture of complex embedded communication and/or storage systems
Desire to work in a small company environment
Initiative to do whatever it takes to produce reliable, successful products
Excellent technical writing skills
Experience with integration of hardware acceleration for TCP/IP (TOE) or other protocols is desirable
Experience with storage technologies including SCSI, Fibre Channel, NAS, SAN is a big advantage
BS or MS degree in CS, EE or other technical area; 5+ years of experience
