BearingPoint's Financial Services Technology Group is currently searching for experienced Engagement Managers. Preference will be given to candidates local to our Virginia/DC, Philidelphia,Atlanta offices.

The Engagement Manager is responsible for the oversight and quality of projects and/or programs. They lead the development of project/program scope, staffing, cost, delivery/release plan, and provide direction to all members of the team. The Engagement Manager is ultimately responsible for the delivery of all project/program deliverables, scope control, cost control, management reporting, billing, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

=C2=B7Works closely with the Managing Directors to develop proposals and statements of work, initial project work plans, and ensure that it is adjusted as necessary throughout the project implementation
=C2=B7Responsible for at least $5M in FS-SI sales and/or delivery
=C2=B7Manage vendor selection process as needed
=C2=B7Provide regular updates to the account Managing Director
=C2=B7Manage client relationships
=C2=B7Continually develop engagement management skills, functional business understanding and knowledge of IT solutions in order to provide current, relevant engagement management

Qualifications
=C2=B7At least 5 years Extensive experience leading large (75+ resources) FS projects with integrated cross-functional teams
=C2=B7At least 8-10 years experience in Financial Services disciplines such as business strategy, technology, or customer experience
=C2=B7At least 5 years experience constructing delivery and release plans for highly complex Financial Services software development
=C2=B7Experience managing colleagues and client relations, including business strategy, customer experience, and technology
=C2=B7Experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects
=C2=B7Leadership skills including 5-7 years of project management

Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule.
