The Electrical Engineer III, Design and Engineering will be accountable for field engineering support to the Disneyland Resort and supporting departments, including engineering required for safe, daily operational readiness, reliability centered maintenance and root cause analysis. Develops Resort electrical requirements and design-out opportunities consistent with the equipment strategies process, user needs, and sound business objectives. On call for responding to electrical emergencies resulting in outages at the Resort. The position objectives are to optimize Resort facility reliability, reduce maintenance cost, and maintain Legislative compliance by dispositioning of nonconformities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS in Electrical Engineering with power emphasis or equivalent.
Previous electrical field engineering experience in: design and construction in commercial and industrial buildings; or preferably, the Theme Park Industry or campus-like environment.
Good knowledge of short circuit and coordination study, power distribution system, lighting control/instrumentation, raceways, and wiring.
Strong project management and planning skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong computer skills - word processing, spreadsheets, SKM and AutoCAD.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Professional Electrical Engineer licensed in the State of California.
