Description
Genesis10 is seeking an individual to provide IT end user support to patient care teams. This is a 9 month contract position scheduled to begin 8/2/04.

***Note....W2 position; no 3rd party candidates..US Citizens/Green Card Holders only.

Provide direct and immediate end-user support services to patient care teams in clinical work settings to facilitate the introduction, acceptance, integration, and effective use of the new HS01 Transitional EpicCare Ambulatory Version, a computerized patient care management system. % Of TIME 75%.

1. Contribute to the acceptance and effective use of HS01 EpicCare by facilitating end-user learning is through one-on-one coaching and the teaching of new features, navigation and efficiencies. Collaborate with site specialists, trainers and application support staff to assist with trouble shooting and problem solving any application issues we encounter as we go-live on this new version. 25%

2. Maintain knowledge of EpicCare Ambulatory in order to accurately assist clinical end-users with the effective and efficient use of the new functionality within there established clinical work-flows.
Thorough knowledge of a computerized clinical information system. Training of adult learners, in support of automated systems. The work and workflow issues in clinical outpatient settings. Working knowledge of the Northwest Region's computerized clinical information system.df-tc


Experience/Skills
Recent clinical or CIS experience. Recent experience in a computer training or support role.
. Implementation of large-scale clinical systems.
Minimum 2 years experience working with computer systems as an end-user, including at least 6 months experience in at least one of the following:
* Application support of end-users
* An adult training role (on-the-job training qualifies)
* In an information technology role
* In a clinical health care role.

Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to write concise, non-technical documentation of a technical subject matter.
* Proficiency in use of e-mail and MS office suite type applications.
* Accomplished interpersonal oral and written communications skills.
* Demonstrated self-motivation skills and aptitude to direct and assist others in a learning or support setting.
* Ability to learn computer applications from a business perspective to help others transfer learning from training back on the job. Ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them.
* Ability to trouble-shoot basic personal computer/printer problems.
* Self-directed learner comfortable with a constantly evolving environment.
* Proven problem solving and analytical skills.

* Demonstrated exceptional listening skills.
* Ability to be consistently punctual and reliable.
* Ability to function independently, with minimal supervision once given clear instructions and training on a specific support role.
* Ability to function with a team focus in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Hours:
Hours have the potential to vary throughout the project. It is expected that 70%-80% of the hours would be standard hours with start times varying. 20% of the hours have the potential to be late evening. There is also the rare possibility the hours may reach past midnight. Training sessions are held every third Saturday, so support may be needed on these days as well.
