FIELD SUPPORT SPECIALIST

CONTRACT TO HIRE


Our client, a well established company doing business internationally, is looking for an experienced field service support professional. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in order to determine how to solve any technical issues that arise. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should be able to have the patience to work with both unskilled and highly-skilled PC users and have a strong focus on customer service. Previous experience working with CNC equipment highly desirable.

FIELD SUPPORT SPECIALIST

CONTRACT TO HIRE

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of Desktop Support/PC Support experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Windows 2000/XP operating systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of remote access applications.
  • Proven computer hardware troubleshooting ability
  • Strong customer service skills are a MUST.
  • Experience dealing with OEM's for support and problem resolutionment
  • Experience working with CNC machines HIGHLY DESIRED
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to provide customer training via Webex
  • 2 or 4 year technical degree HIGHLY DESIRED
  • Industry Certifications are a plus. (A+, MCP, N+)
  • Some travel required
