Description
Adecco Technical is currently seeking a Field Service Technician for one of our clients in Arcadia, CA. This is a long term temporary position. The Field Service Technicians will provide on-site debugging and troubleshooting for automated systems located within hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities. They will service hardware and software system components. Additionally, the Field Service Technician will participate in the installation of new hardware within these systems and secondarily execute a preventative maintenance program. They will participate in pre-installation testing, reconfiguring, & documentation of uncovered technical issues. They will also perform post installation acceptance testing. Extensive travel will be required for a period of 18 24 months. Requirements: Associate certificate/degree in computer electronics or equivalent degree or work experience. A+ Certification or equivalent knowledge is required. Minimum of two years direct, hands-on experience analyzing and repairing computerized electro-mechanical systems is a must. Minimum of one-year experience working in a service capacity with direct customer interaction is preferred. Ability to understand and follow mechanical schematics, electrical wiring diagrams and computer motherboard diagrams is a must. Understanding of Ethernet communication is preferred. Clear written and oral communications skills are required. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Flexible working hours are required, including nights and weekends. 90 - 95% automobile travel. Only local candidates will be considered.
