Description
We seek an experienced consultant with extensive background in Financial Systems development and deployment. Consultant must be knowledgeable in Data Warehousing, and how it can be used to facilitate a detailed, flexible, reporting environment. Knowledge of current packages or processes being used in the industry would be very helpful. Knowledge of state of the art technologies that we could leverage is also very desirable. Varied experience with different types of Financial closing calendars and environments is required.

Engagement Deliverables:
The major deliverable of this effort is an architecture, or road map, for how our systems should be re-engineered to streamline the month end closing process. This should include high level designs for how our data should be delivered and processed for maximum efficiency and flexibility of reporting. This would include proposed data marts, sequence and timings for performing key Financial functions, an overview of the envisioned future month end environment, and a migration strategy to get from where we are today to the proposed environment.

The end result would be an implementation plan, with the emphasis on staged deliverables to allow us to make incremental improvements, working towards the ultimate environment.
