Future Technologies Researcher

Los Angeles based advanced technology conference program geared to Fortune 500 senior technology executives seeks a dynamic and creative Future Technologies Researcher to identify speakers and topics for upcoming meetings.  The position will search for expertise and knowledge in a wide variety of technical areas, primarily focusing on IT, scout out nascent technologies, discover potential conference speakers, survey institutions and researchers doing ground-breaking work, and help spot emerging trends.  A cross-disciplinary approach will be taken.  Candidate must have a command of global enterprise technologies and needs, be articulate and a multitasker, and have superior oral and written communication skills.  Ability to travel to five cities (domestic and international each year) for conferences (approximately 30 days/year on the road, paid), plus possible additional travel days is required.
