Description
General Characteristics:
Designs web based user interfaces, html prototypes, and interaction of web-based applications. Designs and evaluates visual human interfaces utilizing user-centered design principles and usability standards. Ensures that the existing technology and architecture can support the design requirements. Works with the product management team and subject matter experts to design online user experiences. Ensures user experience is formulated to achieve the goals of the web based product.



Skills, knowledge & education:

Bachelor's or MA degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Engineering
Minimum of 2 years experience building Internet Applications in an ASP NET environment.
Minimum of 2 years experience programming in HTML
Experienced in utilizing Human Factors engineering and User-Centered design principles.
Advanced interviewing skills
Ability to capture customer requests and develop conceptual solutions through the use of various modeling and prototyping methods.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to prioritize and manage tasks
Ability to work effectively alone or in a team environment
Capability to set and managing customer expectations
Ability to create HTML based Solution Presentations & Prototypes
Expert knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Industry experience preferred
