Description
1. Serves as a first point of contact for functionality based problems/issues as it relates to all HRMS modules and/or soft wares used to support such modules.
2. Serves as the liaison between corporate and field user's logging tracking and analyzing calls.
3. Responsible for the analysis of request to provide answers in a timely manner and/or the transition of request to appropriate area for resolution.
4. Works with field users to identify trends as it applies to required changes/modifications within the system. Works with the HRMS organization and users to transition suggestions on best practices related to these trends to maintain essential company-wide standards.
5. Serves as the Liaison between corporate companies and field users by developing, running, analyzing and reporting on audit queries to ensure data integrity between multiple databases.
6. Responsible for performing best practice analysis to determine the root cause of problems and issues to determine the best overall solution.
7. Must have the ability to communicate those solutions/recommendations to all levels within the organization.
8. Works with development staff to implement and develop the use of all soft wares to maintain essential company-wide standards.
9. Responsible for the content of the Cox specific functional documentation. Includes creating, preparing and updating communications and instructions to the field users, documenting and communicating business needs, objectives & process flows, assist in analyzing and updating training documentation and other information as required.
10. Be innovative in the support and creation of classroom and web-based curriculum, hands-on activities and documentation utilizing various resources for end users on software application instruction.
11. Adapt instructional lesson plan to meet individual needs in a classroom environment of 5-30+ students by recognizing the need for appropriate pacing and delaying of time to ensure students understanding.
12. Create an atmosphere of mutual respect and open communication that encourages and motivates student involvement and participation to further enhance learning while instructing.
13. Coordinates, creates and provides web-based and classroom based, group and individualized training as necessary. Reinforces training by providing guidance and coaching, by phone, to users as necessary for HRMS software.
14. Serves as a first point of contact for all aspect of HRMS Security, providing requirements of the role definitions, approval codes, to the submission process of creating new roles. Providing updates of the role level access for all HRMS roles. Responsible for audits and maintaining all updates to the system.
15. Responsible for the support of the reporting system, including the creation of quires and analyzing reporting needs through Business Objects and PeopleSoft; through analysis determine whether existing or new solutions are needed and maintaining Cox's repository for all public queries;
16. Will be expected to develop strong relationships with HRMS functional analysts in order to learn about new Projects being delivered. These projects will potentially create more support questions initially which will need to be resolved in a timely manner.
17. Report to test new releases of the software and assist the IS Department with upgrade activities.
18. Organize time, space and resources to balance heavy workloads and stringent deadlines in order to facilitate unexpected and additional tasks/duties assigned.



Experience/Skills
Human Resources functional experience desired;
Knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS modules desired;
Knowledge of database concepts and reporting tools desired;
An understanding of Data Modeling, Development Life Cycle, and testing Methodology desired
Experience serving in an Operations Analyst or similar role desired
