Description
The technician will provide on-site technical support. This on-site service includes all areas of technical support for hardware, software, and Local Area Network's (LANs) including, but not limited to, desktop computers, notebook/laptop computers, network servers, hubs, routers, printers, PDAs, Blackberry devices, Mobile devices, Air Card devices, cabling, peripherals, computer components and accessories and all software, including operating systems software.

Technical support includes:

1. install new equipment, work in cooperation with warranty vendors, perform periodic maintenance activities, and assist other technicians with activities related to technical support.

2. provide the expertise to diagnose and resolve or coordinate resolution of basic LAN-related problems and to answer inquiries from users.

3. install software, configure software, and verify that the software is operational in environment.

4. perform all responsibilities related to installation and de-installation of computer software and equipment may include, but are not limited to, receiving, unpacking, inventorying, warehousing, transporting, setup and testing, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) configuration, retrieval of old equipment for surplus property per instructions and procedures, and provision of company vehicles.



Experience/Skills
3+ years experience Help Desk or technical support including a variety of skill sets such as h/w, s/w, networking and LANs.
